How much to pay to repair a surfboard ding?
I have a 6' shortboard with 3 cracks and 1 deep crater. I was just wonder how much should I be paying to get all of the dings repaired, so that the board looks almost brand new?
I can fix the cracks on my own, but I believe the crater needs to be filled and I would like a professional to do it. In this case, how much would it cost to simply fix the crater? The crater is about 1/2 inch in diameter.
Figure 20-30 bucks. Best bet though is to learn to fix your own dings. Saves money in the long run and your board's not in the shop for 4 days for something that takes 20 minutes to fix.
