what kind of plants live near the coral reef?
im doing a Biome on tropical oceans (mainly coral reefs) but i cant find any plants that live near them. can anyone help me
plants that grow under the ocean! i know there are some but what kind?
1. Coral reefs:
There are many types of algae that live inside and outside corals.
Mainly Caulerpa and Corallina species, and many more are named there:

Inside coral polyps themselves, there are symbiotic microscopic algae. Their common name is "zooxanthellae", but they are in fact multiple species of Dinoflagellata:

2. Tropical algae: again, far too many to list.
Look around the Seaweed Site, and pick ones that grow in tropics. http://www.seaweed.ie/
3. Besides algae, there are seagrasses (flowering plants living in the ocean):
