How do I steer the board sidewards along the wave once I'm standing?
I have the same problem with bodyboarding & bodysurfing: the moment I lean or face at an angle the wave goes right over me. I catch the momentum of the wave but I just don't glide sideways. Maybe there's some simple technique I haven't realised yet. Any suggestions?
(It's a mini longboard)
You need to catch the wave before it breaks or as it breaks and turn right away. If your in the white water your gonna have a hard time turning.
